   | ABOUT MELinkedIn Profile My name is Mike Navarrete and here is a little something to get to know me on a more personal level. I am a freshman at the University of Illinois in Chicago, majoring in Accounting. Still figuring what field of accounting I want to pursue, however, that is all part of what the class of 2017 Business Scholars Cohort can provide for me. I interned at Primerica my first semester and learned quite a bit in the life insurance department while also working my second job back at home. I really love expanding my skillset, so in my spare time I practice guitar, lift and swim at our recreational facility, go out and skateboard when the weather allows, and I love lending out a hand whenenever! I do volunteer work with the Chicago Cares program and I am a monthly donor of plasma at my local blood center. If I am not doing any of those things, well actually during most of those activities, you will always catch me listening to music. Sharing music will always be one of my favorite experiences.
