Being a UIC Business Scholar
As a Business Scholar, I have been given the opportunity to work very closely with the top business students in my class as well as UIC's faculty and business professionals. We have attended many job fairs and networking events, providing great internship opportunities while giving us a more professional business environment. Recently, Sudhakar Balachandran, a tenured Associate Professor at University of Illinois at Chicago, took me under his wing and has become my faculty mentor. With his experience in Accounting, I will be able to learn the essential skills necessary to be succesful in the accounting field.
